after school arranged tables. liuyi and sok were helping me to stuff alot of stuffs into my bag till it was damn heavy. and i was fearing that my bag would give way. ): new purple ink sling bag you know! ):

then me, liuyi and sok went to find ms koh about HISTORY hurhur. at first we couldnt find her, then liuyi was singing some strange song about how she was going to die if ms koh didnt appear. or was it how ms koh would die if she didnt appear? i cant remember. ask her.

after waiting for some time, we decided to go down to the canteen to buy some food. saw clara lu. then she was like: "you you you....... wait wait wait....."

in response to claire soon's speech on world peace during this morning's assembly:

WORLD PEACE.

definition:

21st september was set aside as world peace day for us to commemorate world peace, yet ironically, we have only had 26 days of world peace for the last 5 years.

for the last 5 years since 2001.

in the 2001 911 incident, 3000 people have died in the world trade centre after the hijacked planes america 77 and flight 97 (not sure. cant remember.) crashed into the twin towers.

when the first plane crashed, the americans were nochalant about it. news reporters reported in bored voices that a plane have crashed into the north tower of the world trade center, assuming that it was all just an accident.

it was only when the second plane crashed into the north tower of the world trade center that realised that this was not an accident. it was a hijack. and they panicked.

one other plane also crashed into the pentagon and the last plane, united/flight 93 missed it's target by minutes and crashed into a woods in Pennsylvania.

after the incident, US declared war on iraq and that was when thousands have died, many have been injured and millions have lost their loved ones.

DEFINE GENOCIDE:

1. murder by the government of people due to their national, ethnical, racial or religious group membership.

2. the legal meaning of genocide refers to the international treaty. this treaty includes nonkillings that in the end somehow manage to eliminate the group, for example, preventing births or forcibly transferring children out of the group into another group.

3. is also known as democide, it is similar to the first meaning but also includes government killings of political opponents or rather, intentional murder.



The Darfur conflict or the Darfur genocide is an ongoing armed conflict in the Darfur region of western Sudan, mainly between the Janjaweed, a militia group recruited from local Baggara tribes, and the non-Baggara peoples (mostly land-tilling tribes) of the region. i felt most for the brother and the mutilated woman. imagine carrying your brother for 49 days in a desert with nothing and an injured foot. or going through the mentally, emotionally and physically torturing and painful experiences like what the mutilated women went though.

is this right? was it fair for all these victims to go through all of these?

1. DANCE.

had dance assesment yesterday. kind of regretted myself for hating dance these 2 years, although it's relaxing and all, but im not really flexible. and only yesterday did i realised that i'll really miss dance.

the music! the poise! the perfection! the rhythm! the grace!

it was all so overwhelming. trying to enjoy all aspects of dance at the same time. it's kinda sad we wont get to do dance in sec 3 and sec 4 anymore. afterall, it's a good form of exercise. (:

2. MUSIC

the joke is that those who walked into the band room without studying for the music test at all walked out with full marks while those who did study, didnt.

the music test was crap. half the time madam ong gave us the answers already. utter rubbish.

listened to gershwin and rhapsody in blues afterthat. just sat there relieving the memories the band once had playing gershwin for concert. (:

3. LIUYI.

liuyi's VERY VERY VERY amused with things that happen in jason's lessons. she oftenly begs me to tell her stories of jason's tuition.

jason should be utterly honoured.

SOK is also very amused. i wonder why.

all i can say is that it's such a tragedy they both are very amused by benjamin chai. who apparently is very irritating to me. :/

4. MALAY.

malay was quite screwed yesterday, since we still did not have a script and presentation was TODAY. in the end we rushed out the script at 8 last night. utter rubbish. and partly because most of us in the group suck at malay. the only malay thing that i can memorise by heart is:

yesterday ms yeo told us that today we're going to have a mock math paper. no correction tape etc. treat it as a real test.

the real test gives us 1 hour and 45 minutes.

she pushed us over the edge and forced us to complete it in 1 hour.

i couldnt finish it. skipped alot of questions then dunno why cannot solve some questions at the back.

at the end of the lesson, i left the class with only these thoughts in my mind:

jason's tuition today quite amusing please. later at night during 6-8, i changed back to the main center. then i was made to sit in the middle of BENJAMIN CHAI and this SUPPOSEDLY cute small boy. but he wasnt cute at all. cause why?

BENJAMIN CHAI and the CUTE SMALL BOY were quarelling.

according to david, they've been quarelling since what, 4? and trust me, it's NOT NICE to sit between two guys quarelling. especially BENJAMIN CHAI. damn irritating please. so i got fed up and tried to "shut them off" but to no avail. so THANK GOODNESS after david left, i took his place.

i also learnt that RGS people cant really take stress. there was this upper sec rgs girl sitting next to benjamin. and since she was quite weak, jason decided to giver her more homework.

she collapsed.

ok fine. not literally, but mentally and emotionally. her face just went blank and i think she almost died of shock.but the stack really isnt that bad. compared to what benjamin,david and i do, it's really nothing. really. and since she was from rgs, it should have been nothing to her too.

but she really broke down.

then she and benjamin began comparing. cause STUPID BENJAMIN TRIED TO SHOW OFF by saying "hey, that's nothing. it's not even half of what i need to do." and they started "quarelling" again.

i decided to shut up.

there's nothing i could have said, really. i guess i've sterotyped RGS people since miranda broke down and left not long after she joined. i think it's going to be the same thing for this RGS girl as well.

when she finally left, the small boy and his older sister left the same time as her. just before they left, jason drowned the small boy with homework again.

the small boy: "WAAAHHH DR LIM. YOU WANT ME TO DIE ARH?"

and that really made me laugh.
